A series of children’s events honoring the International Child Protection Day continue at Tashkent’s Ecopark. A number of exciting events, namely competitions, contests, exhibitions, music performances and theater plays, are scheduled to take place at the Ecopark on June 2-21. Trainees of “Yangi avlod forumi” Children’s Art Center have prepared 7 different interesting events to demonstrate their skills and talents and to make new friends.
On June 2, the Ecopark hosted performances by Yulduzcha (Starlet) dance group of “Yangi avlod forumi”. Little stars performed Uzbek national and international dances.
On June 4, trainees of art clubs and little visitors to the Ecopark engaged in exciting artistic activities. The young artists drew colorful images on tarmacs using colored chalk. Titled “I Draw Peace”, the event was an opportunity for kids to express their visions of peace in various colors.
The events at the Ecopark involving children training at “Yangi avlod forumi” Children’s Art Center will run until June 21.
June 7 at 3 p.m. – Poetry Day with trainees of Rostok souvenir workshop who will recite poems about nature.
June 8 at 3:30 p.m. – Happy Childhood exhibition will feature works by Radioelektronika hobby group, beadwork, oriental miniature and artworks.
June 10 at 4 p.m. – An excerpt from Tarakanishe (The Cockroach), a play by Korney Chukovsky, featuring members of “LIK” drama studio.
June 15 at 11 a.m. – art session dedicated to summer vacations featuring trainees of Mozaika (Mosaic) art studio.
June 21 at 9 a.m. – “Dad, mom and I” sporting competitions involving trainees of Yangi avlod forumi Children’s Art Center and their parents.
Admission to the Ecopark is free.
