Forty five laurates of the Fund Forum`s largest-scale youth project have been named. The Republican final round of Kelajak ovozi (Voice of the future) Contest took place on December 26 in Tashkent. The final round was held in the format of a conference where participants were to present their projects and answer the questions of the Contest`s Public Council composed of Uzbekistan`s culture and art figures, men of science and education specialists.

M&TVA-2009 Award Winners Unveiled

The fourth ceremony to hand M&TVA awards, the highest national accolade for excellence in music, TV and video arts, had its venue at Tashkent’s Alisher Navoi Theater, one of the most majestic edifices in Central Asia. The event, organized by the Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan Foundation, Guild of Authors and Performers, and TVM Channel, unveiled the laureates of M&TVA-2009.

Kelajak Ovozi: new talents to emerge

The Republican final round of Kelajak ozovi (Voice of the future), one of Uzbekistan largest-scale competitions, is under way in Tashkent from December 19 to December 26, 2009. This year, more than 63 thousand boys and girls across the country have submitted applications for participation in the competition, with 200 making it to the final round. A series of innovations in the project`s format and conditions have helped to increase interest in the project not only among the youth but also specialists and observers.

Ronaldo to visit Tashkent

World-famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is coming to Uzbekistan to participate in the Fund Forum`s new project, Young Footballers Support Program. On December 22, Cristiano Ronaldo will give a master class in Tashkent`s Jar Sporting Complex with the assistance of Uzbekistan`s Fund for the Development of Children`s Sports.

Pedagogical Grants Program: deadline has been prolonged

Fund Forum has prolonged the applications acceptance deadline for participation in the Pedagogical Grants Program. Documents are accepted until February 1, 2010 in the Fund`s office in Tashkent, as well as in regional Kelajak Ovozi Youth Initiative Centers.
